You have to admit that before you became a developer, many of you had huge dreams(including my self) that your game will be one of the top game, you will have thousands or millions of downloads and you will be rich over night!
But after publishing the first game you start to realize that this line of work is no joke and you need to have patience, so you decided to wait a few weeks to get good number of downloads. But after a while like 1 or 2 months, you see that you are not getting any real results. So many of the good developers eventually lose hope before even moving on to the next project.
If it was like 2009 or 2010 then it would have not been so hard to get downloads. These days you practically have to like beg for a single download. If you do not want to or have the money to spend on advertising for your game then it will be a great challenge for you to get good results for your game.
There are many websites and services that will help you with your app promotion. But, not for free. And many of them are just scams. Those which offer free service is totally worthless and have almost no or small effect on your app advertising.
But few weeks back I suddenly came around a brand new website which offers totally free service for such indie developers. The overall look of the website was good so i decided to check it out.

Developers can submit their games for free to be showcased on the website. Once the game is showcased it is on their top tab, category list, home page etc. Most websites, almost all, take your money to let your app be featured on their website but this one lets your app freely be discovered.
The user traffic of the website is also good. Many gamers tends to actually play the games which have been posted as the website offers points for playing and reviewing games. The points can later be cashed for exciting prizes. This attracts a good number of traffic to the website and so this benefits the website, the developer and also the gamer, win win for all !

Well.. that is not only the good thing about the website. Did you every watch gaming youtube channels pewdiepie, KSI, jacksepticeye etc. and wondered if someone reviewed and posted about your game on youtube it would be a huge deal for your game? Well guess what? The website have their own youtube channel where they review and play the unique and enjoyable games which have been posted on their website. The last, but not least, big thing about the website. This attracts a very good number of players on their website. You can have them host a gaming contest on your game! The best part is you just have to only give the idea and they will do the rest of all, the prize, the advertising etc. The contests gives cash or huge points, which later can be converted to cash, to the winners.

Its basically a type of social media site or a hangout zone but only for gamers and developers. Give them a visit and I think you will like it.
